Sara Abrams
Director of Strategic Initiatives
Sara Abrams is a cybersecurity analyst, forensic investigator, and security awareness strategist currently serving on the City of Philadelphia's incident response team. Most recently, she led the City’s most successful cybersecurity awareness training to date, achieving a record 88% completion rate citywide.
She holds an A.A. in Humanities and Social Sciences, a B.A. in Computer Networks and Cybersecurity, multiple Microsoft cloud certifications, and the CompTIA CSIS stackable certification. A former community health worker, Sara leverages her cross-sector background to design data-driven programs that address human risk and integrate behavioral science into workforce security culture.
Beyond her public-sector role, she volunteers with NGOs, applying her skills in threat hunting and OSINT investigations to combat human trafficking and child exploitation—a mission-driven extension of her work that bridges technical expertise with social impact.
Sara has been a guest speaker on the Cyber Queens Podcast, CSI’s inaugural SHIELD workshop, and WSC’s Cyberjutsu Con, discussing broader topics in cybersecurity and digitial investigations.
